Every commitment now published in plain language; voters can answer a few quick questions and get the parts of the plan built for their neighbourhood and family
LANGLEY TOWNSHIP – Langley Strong today released its complete platform for the Township of Langley: ten pillars covering taxpayers, communities, public safety, farmers and heritage, kids, seniors, small business, the environment, neighbours, and how the Township treats people — dozens of commitments, in plain language, at LangleyStrong.ca.
The team also launched something new for a Langley election: a platform that fits the reader. Voters who answer a few quick questions at LangleyStrong.ca — where they live, who is at home, what matters most — receive a personal version of the plan, drawn word for word from the published platform. No name or email is required, and the complete platform is available on the same page for those who want all of it.
“Over the past weeks, Langley has seen pieces of our plan. Today, you get it all,” said mayoral candidate Jay Lundgren. “Ten pillars. Dozens of commitments. One goal: restore respect at Township Hall.”
“Most people don’t have an evening to spend on a platform document — they have five minutes at the kitchen table,” Lundgren added. “So answer a few quick questions, and we’ll show you exactly what our plan does for your street, your family, and your priorities. It’s the same published plan, word for word — just the parts you care about most, first.”
“This platform was built the way we intend to govern: in the open, community by community, with respect,” said council candidate Margaret Kunst. “Bridges, not battles, is a theme that runs through all ten pillars, because it’s the whole point.”
