Kim has called Langley Township home for nearly four decades. She raised her family here, she has taught business management at Kwantlen Polytechnic for over thirty years, and she has had the honour of serving residents on Council for more than twenty-five. In all that time, her commitment has never changed: to debate the issues and not the personalities, to listen to every point of view before making a decision, and to make sure your voice is heard at the table.
But she is concerned about the direction the Township has taken. Families are being squeezed by the rising cost of living and rising taxes. Growth has too often been rushed and piecemeal instead of orderly and well planned. And too many decisions have been made without the transparency and accountability that residents deserve.
Kim will keep working to protect our farmland and green spaces, to plan growth properly, and to hold Council to the highest standard of ethics and accountability.
