When is election day? +

Can I vote in advance? +

Who can vote? +

To vote in the Township of Langley election, you must be:

  • 18 years or older on election day
  • A Canadian citizen
  • A resident of BC for at least 6 months before registering
  • A resident of the Township, or a registered owner of property in the Township

Where do I vote? +

Langley Strong is a team of experienced councillors and community leaders running for Township Mayor, Township Council, and School Trustee in the October 17, 2026 election, united around fiscal responsibility, transparent governance, and community safety and wellbeing.

How is the campaign funded? +

The campaign is funded by individual contributions from eligible donors, within the limits set by Elections BC. We do not accept corporate or union donations, consistent with BC local election law.

Donation Rules

Contribution limits, who can give, and how donations are treated.

How much can I contribute? +

As of January 1, 2026, eligible individuals may contribute up to $1,429.70 to the Township of Langley campaign and up to $1,429.70 to the Langley School District campaign, for a combined maximum of $2,859.40 per calendar year.

Who is eligible to donate? +

You must be a resident of BC and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, donating with your own personal funds. Corporate and union donations are not permitted, and no person or entity may reimburse you for your contribution.

Is my donation tax deductible? +

No. Contributions to BC local elections campaigns are not tax deductible.

How can I pay? +

Donations can be made by credit or debit card, or by Interac e-Transfer, through the donation page.
